Hi there!!
It's time for Digi Choosday Challenge and this week it's all about the boys. As I am sure the same can be said of a lot of people, sometimes it is harder to make cards for the men; even in card making they can be difficult!
However, this week, I came armed to the challenge with the new Emma Canning digi stamps recently released on Polkadoodles and you can see them here. There are some great images here but I had to choose Music Time, 'him indoors' walks around constantly (it seems) with a headphone stuck in his ear, he's always listening to something and it's not me! :)
I coloured the image with my Graph'It Markers which you can get here. I had to colour the image with the other half in mind and here he is:
The markers I used are:
Hair: 1210, 2105, 1250
Skin: 4115, 4155, 4170, 4135
T-Shirt: 7125, 7130, 7170
Headphones: 9500, 9501, 9502, 9503, 9504, 9505
Ipod: 9100, 9101, 9102, 9103, 9501, 9502
Table: 1210, 1230, 1270
Outline: 9500
I made an 8x8 card and the backing papers I chose are from the new Work and Play Collection 1 which you can get from Polkadoodles. It's a superb CD-Rom and the characters themselves are amazing and the co-ordinating papers are super.
I added a grosgrain ribbon which had yellow stitching which tied the colours all together. I also added a music charm just as an embellishment along with some pearl accents.
I hope you like the card, why not pop on over to the Digi Choosday Blog and see what other fabulous makes the design team have come up with, there are some stunners I can tell you! Why not have a go yourself and join in the challenge, we'd love to see your projects.
See you soon!
Hugs
