Spectrum Noir Challenge

Hi there

I have done a card for the Spectrum Noir October challenge which this month is flowers.

I love the digi stamps from Wee Stamps so I have picked Sweet Blossom for the challenge to colour.

For this card I have used an 8x8 card blank, I have cut out a square of purple Core'dinations cardstock and embossed with the embossalicious 8x8 folder Flower Power.  I then added a piece of dotted gingham ribbon and added some dazzling sparklers. I also added some little gems in the centre of most of the embossed images, for a little bling.  I used my Spellbinder cherry blossom for some added detail to the card. I ran the flowers that come with the die on two different colours of core'dinattions and then blinged them the same as the backing piece.

For the main image, I printed out the image onto Neenah cardstock, then cut the image out with Grand Big Scalloped Ovals and inked around the ages with Tim Holtz's Milled Lavender - distress inks.

The spectrum noir colours used above are:

Face and skin; FS1, FS3 and TN2
Hair: TN7, TN8, EB5 and GB10
Dress and socks: LV1, HB1, LV3, PL2, PP2 AND FS8
Animal; IG2, IG4, IG8 and FS8
Others: DG4, DG2, LG2, GB2, GB8, GB10, PP3, PP5, CT1, CT3, GB5, TB1 and TB3

Hope you like it!

Hugs

Yvonne
