Well it is Digi Choosday Challenge day and this weeks theme is 'Birthdays'. A great theme and one that never gets old!
My dad turns the 70 this February so this theme is perfect for him and what better collection to use for a male birthday than Winston Bear Collection.
He is available as a complete Digi Download Collection or as a CD-Rom; alternatively you can get the digi image 'Birthday' on it's own, here.
Markers used are as follows:
Fur: 1210, 1230, 1270, 1280, 3110
Muzzle: 4120, 4150, 4170, 2105
Hat: 7125, 7130, 7170
Cake: 3250, 3270, 9501, 5220, 5240
I made a simple A5 card using papers from the Winston Collection. I have used Winston tons of times but I have never before used the button and flower paper and I don't know why! It is so bright and pretty, I think it has just become one of my favourites!!!
I coloured organza ribbon with one of my Graph'It Markers to tie it into the card. I cut out the 'Happy Birthday' from Joy Crafts die and added that on for embellishment. The 70 is cut using my cricut.
A nice bright cheery birthday card, perfect for a male. I hope you like it!
If you go visit the main challenge blog you can see the rest of the inspiration from the rest of the team. Birthday theme is bound to be popular, I cannot wait to see your challenge entries when you join in the fun with us.
See you all soon!
