Tic Tac Toe.................bingo?

Hello there everyone and Happy New Year!!!!

I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and fun filled New Year.  Well I am back (as promised) with new challenge inspiration for you at Polkadoodles Challenge Blog.  The first challenge for the new year is Tic Tac Toe. Now I confess, I didn't have a scooby doo what this meant! However, my teamies explained it to me and it seems you pick a row from the grid below and from the row you MUST use the three options. Of course you can add more but not less!

I opted for the diagonal line from top left to bottom right, 'Sentiment, Ribbon and Polka Dots'.  I opted to use the Rose Budd Collection, which is so soft and beautiful. You can get this collection as a CD-Rom or as a complete digi download.

 The backing paper has polka dots and swirls on it and I thought it was perfect for this challenge.  My ribbon is also polka dotty(?) and I layered it over some lace, as this collection just needs lace!!! My sentiment is from the same collection and I just love what it says;

I cut the sentiment using a Spellbinder die which I embossed and then coloured over with a pink tone pan pastel whilst the die cut was still in the die. I think you'll find that die cut and dry embossing was also on the tic tac toe challenge.
I added some paper flowers and pearls to finish the card off. There you have it! This is the finished card and the first one of the year for the polkadoodles challenge. Now don't forget to pop on over to the main challenge blog and see the rest of the design teams inspiration and join in the fun with us!

See you soon
