Spots and Dots...............

Hello there everyone

Well it isn't the first time I have been a little bit dotty, but this weeks Digi Choosday Challenge is all about them Spots and Dots!

Now, I have ventured into the world of coloured pencils, I have been observing other crafters use them and thought, hmmmmmmmmmmmm I think I will give this a go. So I bought some polychromos pencils and this is my first attempt with them. Now I know you are thinking, over confident, BUT the skin came out SO well I am very scared that I may never acheive this level of awesomeness on the skin again, so I refused to not use it! See - dotty!!! I acknowledge hair etc needs more work but for my first attempt, I wasn't complaining!

I decided for this theme I was going to attempt to colour Octavia Dragonfly Ride and you can find her here as a digi or here as part of the overall collection as a digi download or you can get her as a CDRom - the choice is yours!

I coloured her with my new Polychromos pencils and I was so excited, I forgot to note the colours. Sorry. I will learn for next time!

Here's a close up of the image:
I have been using Nikky's cutting files again and this time I am using Frame 2. The papers are from Octavia Moonfly, but the flowers are from Work & Play 10: Country Life as is the sentiment.  The image is cut out by my lovely OH who weilds them scissors like he owns them! Hang on, maybe he does own them.....................anyway, thank you to His Nibs for being a master cutter outer.

Pop on over to the main challenge blog to see the rest of the design teams inspiration and come in and join the fun! You do not need to use a Polkadoodles image to play along with us, just follow the challenge theme.

Look forward to seeing you all soon!

Hugs
