Monkeying Around...............

How is everyone doing? Are you liking the new teams, I think it is working quite well!

We have a new challenge this week at Digi Choosday Challenge blog, as always our theme for our entrants is 'Anything Goes' but the design team this week, are all about animals.

Oh me, I am not the most proficient colourer at the best of times - but animals? I ran and hid. Then I remembered the sweet collection of 'Too Cute' which you can find here. Now these are all black and white digis, but they have little sentiments with them and they really are the cutest.

I opted for monkeys, because I decided they would be the easiest to colour and as they are obviously cartoon cuteness, I didn't need to fret about attention to detail of fur and just went basic shading and colouring................don't judge me!!! LOL

So the first wee monkey I used was 'Bananas About You' which you can see here. I then teamed him with 'Silly Monkey' which you can find here.

I made a 7x7 card using papers from the Digikit 'Berry Crush'.

I designed the card on my silhouette portrait, so the sentiment is printed onto the white card as are the wee hearts which I used from the Helga Collection. 

My monkeys are coloured with Copic Markers;

Male Monkey:

Face and ears: E30, E31, E34

Body: E13, E15, E17, E18

Banana: Y08, Y15, Y18

Female monkey:

Face and Ears: E50, E51, E53

Fur: E30, E31, E34

Flower: BV000, BV01, BV02
