Love and Romance.......

Hi there

It's DIGI CHOOSDAY CHALLENGE time and this week we are feeling the love and romance with all things Polkadoodle!!! Obviously.

There are LOADS of digi's to choose from for this theme and sometimes, you just cannot pick, as I so often find, when I am in doubt I turn to my wonderful 'Winston Bear' Collection because it is amazing!! You can get the whole collection as a digi download OR you can buy him as a CD-Rom.

Of course, Winston doesn't come all on his lonesome. He has a wee gal pal called Etty and she is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo adorably sweet. I used 'Etty Shy' for today's make and you can get her as a single digi stamp here.

Isn't she too cute???? Now I was naughty this week and decided to use the coloured version of Etty as that's why Nikky gives you both, it is your choice at the end of the day, you can colour yourself or you can opt for the coloured version! You get the coloured options as part of the main collection.

I decided to make a 'banner card'. I haven't done this style before but I like it, all the attention is on the banner and the contents and the rest of the card gets to be simple and pretty.

The card is a simple 7x7 card, I embossed a plain piece of card with a Sue Wilson embossing folder that I genuinely cannot remember the name of!! How bad is that????

The papers that the banner and heart are cut from are off of the Collection and the hearts and flowers are from the collection too.  I think in hindsight, I would matt the banner and the heart onto plain cardstock to make it 'pop' more, but I'll know for next time - after all, every day is a learning day isn't it!

Well worth getting this collection as the amount of papers that are in it is HUGE!!!! There is a section on Kraft Papers and Papers - honestly, the list is endless!

I added a few gems from my stash, ribbon (obviously) and there you have her. All ready to give to someone you love......................His Nibs I know you are reading this, this is a HINT. It would go nice with a bunch of flowers..............just saying!!!

Anyway...moving on.....please go over to the main challenge blog and see the awesome makes from the team this week! Remember to join in the fun with us, you don't have to use a Polkadoodles product, just stick to the theme and join in the fun!

See you soon

Yvonne xx
