Anything goes........................

Good Morning my friends!

It is Digi Choosday Challenge Day and this week we are having fun with a totally open and wide ranging 'Anything Goes' theme! Yippeee everyone loves Anything Goes and the Design Team are no different.

Now you may or may not have noticed, those of you that are here and regulars, I haven't picked up my markers for a few challenges - well - today all has resumed to normal! Yes, I coloured again! Whoo hoo!  Of course, I have opted for the beautiful Octavia Moonfly Collection.................again. I think that helps :)

I made an 8x8 card and chose two of the papers from the Octavia Moonfly Collection. I embossed the feature paper to give texture using a Tattered Lace folder ditsy dots I think. I then edged the paper with 'Broken China' Distress Ink. I chose to use Octavia Wistful and coloured her with my Graph'it Markers.

I cut Octavia out with a Spellbinders Die called Majestic Labels 25................I think.........yes I jsut checked and it is. I used Broken China on it when it was still in the die to give the white some colour.

The markers I used for Octavia are as follows:

Skin: 4115, 4170, 3120, 4145
Hair: 9100, 9102, 9103, 9105
Leaf: 8115, 8120
Dress:  7101, 7105, 7110, 6130, 6140, 6155
Wings: 7107, 9100, blender
Toadstool: 3245, 3255, 1210, 1270, 3120, 5220, 5240, 5245 White Shaker Pen
I outlined the image in 7101 then blemded the distress ink in to meet it.

Ok, I know I coloured her and I am biased, but I love the way she turned out.

I had pink grosgrain ribbon but I coloured it with my 5280 to blend into my matting card I had used. I also coloured one of the paper flowers to match her dress and the deeper blue tones of the distress ink.

The butterfly is cut out of blue centura pearl cardstock using a Tattered Lace butterfly die. The sentiment is from The Pretty Sweet Collection.

I am so happy with the way this turned out. I think I'm a fan of blue hair!! :)

Remember to join in the fun with us you do not need to use Polkadoodles products - Anything Goes is a fab challenge to join in with us, so don't be shy. Pop over to the main challenge blog to see the rest of the Design Teams inspiration.

Hope you like my make and please come back soon!

hugs
