A card with an aperture..............

Hi everyone!!!

It's Digi Choosday time again and this week's challenge is 'Aperture Card' - I love the Boat Digi Stamp from Dollie Goes East - which you can get as an image itself or part of the whole collection which is available as a digi download or as a CD-Rom.

I used a 7x7 card and used the smallest square in my Grand Squares Nestabilities to create my aperture. I took the Boat Image into my craft program and printed it at 4 inches - which just happens to be the size of the smallest grand nestabilitie............it's like I planned it!

The paper I used is also from the same collection and after the scientific mathematical equation to make sure the aperture would be in the same place - which actually involved more luck than anything - I was good to go. I printed out the image from the collection as it was, because it is just so pretty and I know I wouldn't do it justice if I tried to colour it.

I chose to print out some of the orchids and butterflies from the embellishments and dragged them into my craft program to resize. Good news - Mr Scissorhands was sitting peacefully minding his own business...........well that lasted no time at all! Once he cut the embellishments out all perfect, I added them to the card, and decoupaged some of them also.

A sentiment from the collection matted onto the same paper and there you have her.
