Somewhere over the rainbow.......................

Hello everyone!

Well - here I am again in blogland with my first post for Polkadoodles Challenge 'Somehwere Over the Rainbow'. I loved this theme and the inspiration from the rest of the design team, is truly stunning, you have to pop over and have a look! My interpretation of the theme is not rainbow colours, but the iconic film associated with the fantastic song. Think of the film and you (well I do) think of the ruby red slippers. So for my project, I opted to make a card featuring my interpretation of them.

The shoes are an embellishment which can be found in the Dollie Daydream Girl Talk Collection.  The shoes are coloured with my Graph'It Markers.

The markers I used are: 5110, 5120, 5210, 5220, 5245, 8220, 8240, 8180.

I opted to use a backing paper from the brand new Rose Budd Collection - which is just so beautiful, you'll love it!

I added some vintage brown ribbon to tie in with the edge of the papers.  I used a Tattered Lace die to create the frame and added some bling to accentuate my ruby red shoes.

So there you have it, my first card as a DT member on Pookadoodles, I hope you pop on over to the challenge blog  and see the rest of the teams fabulous inspiration.  Thank you for popping past!!

Hugs
