Fancy & Frills.......................

Hi there!

Well I am very excited and privileged to have been given the opportunity to be a Guest Design Team member over at Graph'It Marker Challenge Blog!!! Yes, me! I couldn't contain my excitement either!!! The challenge started on Friday 30th May and here is the original post link.  The Graph'It Challenge Blog runs fortnightly, which means in week 2, you get more inspiration from the Design Team, so this post links to the second week, which is mid-challenge inspiration, and this is where I come in. I opted to do the inspiration blog to ease myself in gently, as it where!

So, let's move on to my make for this challenge then.  I chose to use one of the new Lili of The Valley Fairy stamps - Petal. I love this image and I wanted her to be coloured in muted colours so I decided to use the soft pink tones that are available in the skin tones range of Graph'It Markers.
The Graph'Its used are:

Skin: 4115, 4155, 4170
Hair: 1270, 3140, 3150
Dress & Shoes: 4145, 4135, 4175
Petals: 8220, 8240, 8270
Flower: 5120, 5210, 5255, 5115
Wings: 4145, blender, Silver Glitter Graph'It pen

I die cut Petal using Spellbinders Floral Ovals and then I used two pan pastels in peach and pink to mute the white around her.

I matched the coloured image with Pion Design papers and carried on a peaches and cream theme throughout the card.

I added some pearl lace and a beautiful distressed wooden embellishment I had in my stash.

So there you have it, I hope you like the finished result as much as I do. I have one more post before my GDT spot is up, so check in next week for the next one!

For the moment though, pop on over to the Graph'It Markers Challenge Blog to see the other inspiration from the DT members - there really is some awe inspiring work there.

See you soon!

Hugs

Yvonne
