It's time for Summer......

Hi there!

I have been playing over the last few days with my pens, switching between Copics and Spectrum Noirs. I have coloured the image below using Spectrum Noirs. A list of the colours is stated below.

I have used a rubber stamp this time, again Saturated Canary image but from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps. Her name is Summer and since it was such a glorious day sunday and monday, the windows got opened wide and the pens came out.................obviously an image called Summer was a must to colour!

I have actually got quite a collection made up of finished images waiting to become cards - but I noticed I have been off wandering again so thought best to post the image - the next post will include the finished card......she says!

So, enough rambling, her she is:

Isn't she cute!!! That isn't me being big headed, I mean the stamp in general. If anyone has read Stephanie Myers book The Host, then think 'Pet'.......it could just be me, but when I picture 'Pet' this is how I think of her.

Hair:  GB2; TN3, TN5, TN7, EB8
Face & Eyes:  FS1, TN2, FS3, CR3, TB4
Dress:  CR8, CR11, DR1, DR7, CR9
Shoes:  TRUE BLACK; IG10, IG8, IG4, IG1
Grass & Strawberries:  DG2, DG3, DG1, LG3, JG4, CR9, DR1.
