It's inspiration time at Polkadoodles Challenge Blog for our current challenge of 'More Than One Fold'. When 'Twiggy & Toots Festive Fun' was on Create & Craft TV I had made a few samples for the show, but one of my samples was too big for me to post which in a way I was very happy with as I love it and now I get to keep it for Christmas!
I made a pinwheel decoration using papers from the Collection and then folded the papers back accordion style, gluing the ends together.
I haven't made one of these before so I had no idea how to make the glued pieces of paper into the pinwheel, I tossed it on the table in disgust and lo and behold it went into the required shape!!!!
I printed the image and cut it out twice on my Silhouette Portrait. I then glittered the poor thing within an inch of it's life!!!
I layered the images to give it some lift.
The mistletoe and snowflakes are embellishments from the collection. I glittered all the snowflakes. Trust me - there was glitter EVERYWHERE in my kitchen when I was finished! I punched two holes in the top and threaded it through with some Christmas ribbon for hanging on wall at Christmas.
Remember to pop over to the main challenge blog and see the rest of the design teams inspiration and see how you too can enter into the fun. You don't need to use a Polkadoodles image to join in our challenges with us, just ensure you follow our challenge rules.
See you soon!
