Christmas in July............................

Hello there!

Yes I know - it is Digi Choosday Challenge and no you are not reading this wrong - it IS Christmas in July this week.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE Christmas so for me this weeks make was easy peasy.

I am still addicted to the Serenity Collection and this time I have used 'Stardust'.  I decided she was a Christmas fairy.................obviously.

I coloured her with my polychromo pencils and used pan pastels for the background, I used a mix of yellow, blue and metallic pewter for the 'nighttime' effect.  I added a wee bit of frantage for texture.

I used the following pencils:
Skin: 132, 189, 188, 131
Dress: 112, 266, 167, 267
Hair: 230, 232, 234, 181, black
Moon & Stars: 104, 106, 107, 108
Flowers: 223, 225,  gold
Crown: gold

I used papers from the Picnix Gingerbread Twist collection, which you can get as a CD-rom or as a download.

I added a poinsettia using a Spellbinders poinsettia die and some ribbon from my stash. The sentiment is from Festive Hollibobs Collection.

I quite like how it turned out - do you?  Nip on over to the main challenge blog and see the rest of the inspiration from the design team and check out this weeks discount code!

See ya soon!

hugs
