It's all about the embossing...........

Hello there!

Well I have had a week and two days off work with His Nibs and we went to London and had fun fun fun - ate lots, walked lots and had a thoroughly lovely time, then we came home and had a few days at home. We bought a record player and had a vinyl revival day..............or two! Ah it's been lovely and I had LOTS of time to colour and create!

I've dug out my polychromo pencils again and sigh.................I love them so much! This weeks Digi Choosday Challenge theme is 'Use Some Embossing' - I quite like embossing folders - I have LOTS and I do like, but rarely do, any heat embossing.

Well hold onto your hats, coz this time I used both! Yes I had the heat gun out and everything. Oh I cannot describe the mess that His Nibs was subjected to but I had FUN!!!!

You may have noticed but I have an addiction with Polkadoodles Serenity Collection and this week I used 'Earthstar'. I haven't coloured her before and she took to pencils like a duck to water.

I have used papers from the Serenity Collection and also used one of the papers from the Distressed Wood papers. I embossed the cloud paper with a clud embossing folder.

Skin: 132, 189, 188, 131
Hair: 154, 153, 155
Dress: 139, 138, 249, 101, 102, 103
Leaves: 171, 170, 168

I just love the blues in the polychromo pencils collection, they are so vibrant! I added a wee bit of shabby pink frantage to the image and heat embossed it.  Some ribbon and two butterfly's cut using Tattered lace dies, which I then embossed too.

As always you need to pop on over to the main challenge blog to see the fab makes from the rest of the team and check out to see this weeks discount code - remember you need to be quick, the codes don't always last the week!

I'll see you soon!

hugs
