Anything But A Square

Hi everyone!

It is Digi Choosday Day and this week I decided to go a wee bit mad and opted to make a 3D project. Now - Scatty Jan in the team is the Queen of 3D projects, but I thought I would give it a go and see what happened.  I'll warn you now, this post is a bit heavy on the photos.

Of course the best collection ever was here to help me with ideas and that is of course the Winston Collection. I adore this collection and I find myself coming back to it again and again.  I opted to use Etty Shy and I used the precoloured image.  You can get her as a digi image on her own if you wish and all the links are at the bottom of the post.

So armed with Winston as my inspiration I opted to make an exploding box. I have never made one of these before and with the help of my Cameo, I loved it!

I used two of the papers from the collection to decorate. On the lid I used one of the paper bows, sentiment and of course Etty to decorate - with a few gems......obviously!

I layered the base and the inside layer with the same papers and then decorated the main base with some of the sentiments from the collection.

For the next layer, I used embellishments from the collection to fit the 'theme' of the project.

Laid out it looks like this:

I love how this turned out and I would definitely make another one. Ok - I admit all the hard work was done by my Cameo - thank goodness as I cannot measure anything card related - but I was still very pleased with this. Most definitely not a square!

Remember to take part in our fun challenges you don't need to use Polkadooodles products to enter, just come along and join in the fun with us! Don't forget to go pop past the main challenge blog to see the rest of the inspiration from the Design Team - as always, the girls have knocked it out of the park!

See you again soon!

Hugs
