Case it..............

Hello there everyone

Well it is Friday and it is time for the mid challenge inspiration post at Polkadoodles Challenge Blog.  The current challenge is 'Case It'. Now if you're me, your first thought is, 'I've to make a case?' - but then you ask your teamies as they know sooooo much more than you and of course it has nothing at ALL to do about a case..........................no it seems 'case it' means that you go through all your teams makes and then when you see something you fancy - you steal it.

I'm joking.

You don't steal it, you use their make to inspire you to make your project.  So you could pick the colours they used, their design, their embellishments or something like that. Now there are a LOT of makes on the blog and good grief, I am the worst person to make decisions so giving me hundreds and hundreds of options was a disaster!!! lol!

In the end, I kept coming back to a make that the lovely Lou made in our 'Tag You're It' Challenge.  It was the most lovely delicate tag made using embellies and stuff from the gorgeous 'Winston Bear Collection'.  Of course, please remember to give the original designer respect and credit who's make it is in your posts.

I made quite a large tag but I opted to put 'Etty Sewing' precoloured off of the Collection, however, you can also get her here as a digi image.

So I opted to use Etty and then I printed and cut heaps of the embellies, as Lou did but mostly different embellies and added them to the tag! The paper is also from the collection. All that I had to add was the lace and the gems.

I was quite happy with it, it looks nowhere near as classy as Lou's one, but it works for me!!

So there you have it, it was really lots of fun. Pop on over to the main challenge blog and see the rest of the DT's inspiration, there are some great makes on there!

Come and join in the fun with us - remember you don't need to use a Polkadoodles image to enter and the challenge theme can be the colour scheme, layout, inspiration anything! We love to see what you come up with.

See you soon

Hugs

Yvonne x
