Spring Florals..........

Hello there!!!

It's time for DigiChoosday Challenge Blog and this weeks theme is Spring Florals. Now as we all know, I love love love paper flowers and quite frankly, I have so many I could probably open a shop! Of course, the great thing about Nikky Halls designs is that she isn't adverse to giving you lots and lots of digi images of the floral variety. So I really was, spoiled for choice.

I used the CD-Rom from Polkadoodles called Sundae of the Seasons, one of the fab images in the Spring section have a wonderful floral garden fence. There is also a supporting page of the floral images which I also used for decoupage.  Ok, shock time! I, yes me, I cut out the fence and all the decoupage elements. Yes, I did. It took me longer than it should have but, hey, I'm a learner with the scissors, give me some slack :)

I coloured the image up with my Graph'It pens and confession time, I have them all now (well excluding 3 but they are on order!), I'm a true fan of these markers, I think they are excellent. Of course you can get the fabulous Graph'It Markers from the Polkadoodles shop. The sentiment is from the Girl Talk collection which I cut using one of my spellbinder dies, I then coloured it with a pink tone pan pastel.  The wooden butterfly embellishment is from my stash.

Graph'It Markers used:

Fence: 1210, 1230 & 1270
Leaves: 8240, 8260 & 8270
Flowers: 5110, 5120, 5130, 5210, 5215, 5220, 5230, 5240, 5245, 5245, 5260, 5270, 6110, 6120, 6140 & 6175.

I also used one of the floral backing papers from the same collection. I coloured the image All Dressed Up from the Etsy Shop or from the Dollie Daydream - Girl Talk Collection.

Graph'It Markers used for the image is:

Hair:  3110, 3130, 3140 & 3190
Skin: 4115, 4150, 4170, 4180, 4175 (cheeks), 4135 & 4175 (lips), 7160 (eyes) 3140 & 3160 (eye shadow)
Dress, Flower & Shoes: 1110, 1140, 1150, 1180, 1210 & 1230

I layered the backing paper onto simple white cardstock as the main mat and then a broad strip to give a nice effect.

Well that's me for another week with DigiChoosday, I hope you like the card! Pop by the Digi Choosday blog and see the rest of the Design Teams fabulous inspiration, and why not get involved and join in with the challenge, we'd love to see what you make!
