For a niece who's three.........

I have been off wandering again, seems to be a habit doesn't it! Well my one and only niece was 3 on June 9th and although she got her dress and her toys, I also wanted to make something for her, other than a special card. So I decided to make a wall hanging that was her name. I coloured some stamps to accentuate the letters and decorated with embellishments.

I have seen these in the shops and they can be quite expensive, so I thought I would give it a go. Hope you like it, and you must forgive the picture quality, one of these days I WILL take a perfect picture.

So thats what it looks like all together, below is each frame in close up:

The little fairy is part of a duo (her sisters two photos down) and these are available from Wee Stamps, I love Sylvia Vets designs, she really does little girls soooo cute!

For the V, I used an image from Saturated Canary, this image is called Angels Among Us. Now our little Eve is in no way an angel but this look of innocence is her all over!

Again this is the sister image to the other fairy from Wee Stamps. I know this E is a little obliterated due to the image, but I still kinda liked it. I esp adore these little wooden butterflies, I definitely need more of them.......

All three images were coloured with my Copics and I hope that you like them.

Once I decided on the images and had coloured them to my satisfaction, it was just a case of matching them to the backgrounds and then deciding on the layout. 

As I said, my niece was 3, so even though she did look at them and go 'ooooooh' they were quickly dismissed for the wonder of the walking Barbie horse. However, my sister loved it and instead of them going in Eve's room, they will be pride of place on the living room wall. So I was quite pleased with this news.
