New Beginnings!!

Hope everyone is well and that you are having a good weekend!! I have made a card for the 'A Gem of a Challenge' - challenge! The link can be found here.  The theme of the challenge is New Beginnings, I picked new baby, now I know it's probably a common answer, but I was delighted to be able to have the excuse to colour in this cute little bear.

This is a digi image from Pink Gems Designs - you can get the image as a boy or a girl. 

I coloured the image with my Sepctrum Noirs; the pens I used are listed below;

BEAR: TN2, TN3, TN4, TN5, FS4

CLOTHES & BOW: PP3, CR5, CR6, CR7

TOY BEAR: IG1, IG2, IG5, IG7

CLOUD & ORNAMENTS; IG1, IG2, CR5, CR6, CT2, CT4, GB5

As you will see, I couldn't resist glittering the fringe of the pyjamas and added glitter to the edge of the cloud and the ornaments.

I made a 6x6 card, and the papers are printed off some of my CD roms from Docrafts. I printed the digi stamp onto Clarity Stamps Theuva Card - cut out the image using my Spellbinders Scalloped Labels and I just coloured round the frame with my NEW pan pastels - I used them here for the very first time, I bought the pink tones and the one used here is the lightest of the three called Magenta Tint. Pretty? I think so :)

I added a little bit of ribbon, a bow and some pearls. Simple and easy but I think sometimes simple can be just as effective.
