Hi there, well this is my first day of blogging and it's taken me ages to set up this page, and many of you are going to look at it and think.......... 'really.....ages?'
I know it is basic but at least it's a pretty colour! Well I like it :)

So the purpose of my blog is to 'showcase' my cards and let you see what I am working on. I am going to start the whole event with a card that is nice and simple but I think is effective.

I made a simple stepper card with centura pearl accent A4 card and then did a simple mat and layer with silver mirri card and some decorative festive paper. You cannot see the decorative paper too much which I liked, but it is random coloured snowflakes.

I stamped my image using Strawberry Kisses Christmas range onto Neenah cardstock, and then coloured with my Spectrum Noirs. I cut the image with a Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles. I stamped the sentiment using the one with the image and coloured it with my Spectrum Noirs. I then cut this using one of the Romantic Rectangles dies.  For both pieces of card, I inked around the edges using Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Stormy Sky. I than added some snowflake peel off stickers in silver and white for an extra embellishment.

I was really pleased with the result and I hope you like it also...............
