Love is in the air....................

Hello there!

Happy New Year to you and welcome back to Digi Choosday Challenge! Now you may have noticed that the main challenge blog has now split into TWO teams, yes two teams and I am on Team B.......we save the best for last don't you know ;)

This means though that although there is a challenge every week as  normal, with the theme of 'Anything Goes' - I'll only be popping up every second week. I'm sure you will all cope though because this means with two teams, you have DOUBLE the inspiration to keep your crafty mojo flowing.  So that most definitely cannot be a bad thing can it!?

AND while you're reading this, DO NOT FORGET to go back to that main blog GRAB you're perfectly delicious DISCOUNT CODE to get money off your digi purchases - this code only lasts until midnight on TUESDAY 9TH JANUARY, so be quick and SHOP SHOP SHOP!

I'm feeling that I may be throwing information at you - SO - the easiest way to keep up with all things POLKADOODLES is sign up to the newsletter which you can do here.

Ok - I think I have given you all enough to think about so let's get on to the reason you are here and that is this weeks challenge for Digi Choosday Challenge!

Although every week is 'Anything Goes' for our challenge entrants, the Design Teams are always given a theme to follow and Team B were given the theme of 'Get Romantic' - awwwwwwwwwwwwww.

I immediately sprang to my 'Lily Bug Love' Collection which you can see here. On the link I just gave is the overview of all the elements and selections of what is on offer, you can buy the CD-Rom, download the whole digi kit or just buy separate images, paper bundles or elements. SO much choice and that is one of the wonderful things about Polkadoodles, is the ability to pick and choose what you actually want and are likely to use.

I made a 7x7 card and everything I have used, with the exception of the ribbon, is from the main kit. I used the precoloured image of 'Lily Bug Love Big Heart' which is available as a black and white digi here. I actually used a precoloured topper from the main collection, but you can buy the smaller bundle of toppers and elements here and then I resized one of the precoloured Lily Bug characters and layered her on top, to give dimension.

I hope you can make out my wee Lily Bug is just slightly raised off the topper to give her some dimension.

I used papers from the collection, the matt (black and white check paper) is from Paper Bundle 3 and the cute love heart paper is from Paper Bundle 2 - but remember ALL elements are on the big bundle kit.

The sentiment and word art are also available individually in a bundle here, or as part of the main kit.

Look at her sitting there all cute and loveable. Such a super cute collection!

So there you have it. My 'Get Romantic' card using the adorable Lily Bug Love Collection.

Now remember you need to go back to the main blog, to see the teams inspiration and to GRAB that discount code.

See you soon!

Hugs

Yvonne x
