Thank You in Winter Colours......................................

Hello there!

Well it is Tuesday and this means it is Digi Choosday Challenge day! This weeks challenge is 'Thank You' and in winter colours.

I opted for cool blue and purple, the latter being contemporary I would say.  As the theme is thank you, I think the perfect image to saying thank you is the lovely 'Florist' from 'Work & Play 2'.  You can get this as a CD-Rom, a complete Digi Download Collection or you can buy the digi image here, or from the Etsy store, lots of choice!

I coloured 'Florist' with my Graph'It Markers.

The markers I used are as follows:

Skin: 4120, 4155, 3120, 4145, 4135
Hair:  1250, 3110, 3140, 3160
Apron & Slippers:  6130, 6140
Top:  7105, 7109, 7119
Trousers:  9100, 9102, 9103
Flowers:  5210, 5215, 5220, 5245, 4135, 4175, 2105, 2110, 8240, 8470
Table legs: 1210, 1230, 1270
Tablecloth:  6130, 6140, 6150

I printed out the blue flowers paper from the Pretty Sweet Collection and then I used 'Broken China' Distress Ink around the edges.

I ran a length of purple organza ribbon round the centre to draw out the purple in the image.  The sentiment tickets are from 'Work & Play 3'.  I cut out some Tattered Lace flowers and butterfly's from pearlescent cardstock to keep the flower theme going.

Finally, I added some pearls for the finishing touch, white pearls I coloured with my Graph'It Markers, so everything coordinates.

So there you have it. I quite like the simplicity of it, do you?  Now remember to hop back over to the main challenge blog to see the rest of the teams inspiration and oooooooh check out the news!!!

That's all from me just now, see you soon!
