Feeling a little bit Vintage....................

Hello there!!!

Well it is Digi Choosday Day and as much as I love Digi Choosday Challenge day, I was a wee bit scared of this weeks theme. Vintage. Ohhhhh me, the trembling started and I was coming out in a nervous sweat! However, then I remembered the wonderfulness that is the 'Rose Budd Collection'.

Just call me smug. I have the Rose Budd Collection, available as a CDRom and as a Digi Download - now I don't know about you, but I LOVE digi downloads for lots of reasons but the top three have to be:

3.  They don't take up any physical space, esp if you live in a flat and have no dedicated craft room
2.  You don't need to dig through piles of stuff to find them, they are just a click away
1.  You download them straight to your computer, easy peasy lemon squeezy you don't need to tell your   significant other that you are spending money on MORE craft stuff!!!! YES! Result. What they don't know will never ever hurt them :)

Let's move on swiftly.

Back to the card!

So I used 'Jeremiah' I popped him into my Cameo and then used the programme to allow me to put the frame around him, there's a whole section of frames in the collection.  The bookcase, ink pot & feather, violin, clock face and lamp post are all from the collection also, as are the papers.

I coloured Jeremiah with my Graph'It Markers:

The colours I used are as follows:

Skin:  4120, 4155, 4145
Hair:  9505, 9507, 9508, 9509
Coat:  8270, 8280, 9506
Trousers:  9505, 9506, 9508
Shoes: 9506, 9507, 9508

I used Distress Inks 'Tea dye' & 'Antique Linen' round the frame and I used 'Antique Linen' on the edges of the papers too.

Finished off with some burlap and paper clay frame corners. Job Done.

So there you have it, I hope you like it! Remember to jump back over to the main challenge blog to see the rest of the design teams inspiration and come and join in the fun with us!!!

See you soon

Hugs
