Hi there!
It is time for another Digi Choosday Challenge and this weeks challenge is 'Shabby Chic'. Well, I thought I knew what Shabby Chic meant and I was all gung ho and then I wandered..................I love love love the criss cross cards and I haven't made one before. So, I decided shabby chic week was the week to attempt this.
I used the fantastic and beautiful Rose Budd Collection and selected a few elements from the embellishment section. The papers used are also of the same collection. I recently purchased a Silhouette Portrait and after a few hours (my fellow DT members can attest to how testing this was) I finally had basic know how on how to use it.
The criss cross card template was on the portrait and choosing my papers from the collection, I had everything I needed to assemble the card. It was so quick to make I felt kind of guilty!!!
Some lace, flowers and gems from my stash and the project was complete!
Remember to pop along to the main challenge blog to see the rest of the design teams inspiration! We love it when you take part, so don't be afraid, take the plunge and jump on in!
See you soon!
hugs
