A stitch in time.....................

Hello there!!

Well it's Tuesday and that must mean it is Digi Tuesday and that means whoooooo hooooooo it's Digi Choosday! This weeks challenge is 'Stitching' and I was a sneaky little crafter this week; despite the fact that Nikky Hall gives the design team literally hundreds of images to play with; I often wander through Digiworld Downloadables and I spied the lovely Alyce Sewing image.

I used a 8x8 card, and the backing papers which are from the 'Tatty Easter' paper bundle which are FREE on digiworld downloadables.

'Alyce' is coloured with my Graph'It Markers and the colours I used are as follows:

Skin:  4120, 4155, 3120, 4135, 4145
Hair:  3110, 3250, 3270
Bow & Top: 4135, 5140, 5210
Tablecloth: 1110, 1180, 2105 Graph'It White Shaker Pen
Shirt: 7105, 7109, 7110
Sewing Machine: 9100, 9101, 9103, 9501
Cat: 9500, 9501, 9503
Table legs: 3245, 3250, 3255
Chair: 1210, 1230, 1270

I cut Alyce out with a Tattered Lace die which I then edged with two different Distress Ink pads to give a muted tone.

I added some flowers to the side because I cannot help myself!!

Finally, I ran marker 5210 round the gingham paper for the faux stitching effect.
